Steel-Plastic Geogrid Extruder

Ruimin Geogrid Extruder is a specialized piece of equipment used for producing geogrids. It operates by heating, melting, and extruding raw materials (such as plastic) through the extruder, forming continuous geogrid products.

  • Extruder: responsible for heating raw materials and pushing them into the mold through screws for extrusion.
  • Vibration device: The extruded raw materials are vibrated through a vibration mechanism to promote better alignment and solidification in the mold.
  • Friction system: Through the friction effect, sufficient heat is generated inside the mold to quickly melt and extrude the raw materials.
  • Mold: Used to give specific shapes and sizes to extruded raw materials, usually a continuous structure of geogrids.
  • Control system: used to control the operation of the extruder, vibration device, and friction system to ensure the stability and consistency of the entire extrusion process.

2. Specific Requirements:

Due to the use of optimized screw and new slotted barrel design, the extruder has the following advantages: high plasticization rate, uniform melt, and continuous stable production. It also features a high-performance gearbox reducer with large torque, long life, and low noise.

3. Mold (One-in-Two) (10mm-16mm) 1 set

Made of high-quality mold steel, with a compact structure, reasonable connections, and easy replacement.

The runner surface is plated with hard chrome and polished, with a thickness of 0.03-0.05mm, hardness HRC50-60, and polishing accuracy of 0.02-0.06um.

  • The external surface has a chrome plating layer of 0.02-0.03mm, making it easy to maintain and rust-resistant.

4. Cooling Tank

The cooling tank is used to control the crystallinity of the plastic and ensure the elongation rate of the billet during stretching. The tank body is made of stainless steel.

The tank uses a circulating water system and is equipped with an inlet, outlet, and overflow. The circulating water pump draws water from the water tank through the filtration system, water cooling system, dual-channel water pipeline, and spray pipeline, spraying cooling water.

Powerful Vacuum Water Removal System: A powerful suction fan extracts moisture from the surface of the strips. The extracted water is then separated by a water-vapor separator and returned to the water tank for recycling.

7. Control and Electrical Cabinet

All units of the production line, including feeding, extrusion, and traction, are integrated into the control system. The entire line can be operated in linkage mode or each unit can be controlled independently. A mechanical trigger switch can be used to stop the machine and sound an alarm in case of a line break.
